QHBC will be hosting a community meal at the 1st Baptist Church of New London on Saturday, June 16.  We are looking for people to help with setting, serving and cooking.  If you would like to volunteer or contribute with donations, please contact Steve Balkau, 860-823-0348.

A special business meeting will follow worship on Sunday, June 17.

This special business meeting will be held immediately following worship on Sunday, June 24, for the purpose of: agreeing, by discussion and by vote, on a severance package for Rev. Greg Hamby, and for voting on securing a line of credit to be utilized as required for continuing church operations.

Women's Fellowship is inviting all friends and members of QHBC to attend a concert of Iona on Sunday, June 24, at 4:00 pm.  There will be carpooling from the church parking lot at 1:30 pm.  Tickets are $22.  Please sign up with Cindy Cline. "A mixture of progressive rock, symphonic rock and traditional Celtic folk music blend together to make Iona one of the most unique groups in the world."

Each month Louise Plack and Sarah Desormier will be hosting a crop and stamp event at QHBC from 2:00-8:00 pm.  The fee is $10 per space.  The proceeds will go to the QHBC Mission Fund.
